Basic Needs Program
As a result of the ongoing challenges brought on by COVID-19, many MJC students continue to face food and housing insecurities while pursuing their studies and preparing for their futures. To help ensure that these students have the resources they need to succeed, we are urgently seeking your support for the Basic Needs Program.
The Basic Needs program has a dedicated space called Pirates’ Pantry to fight food insecurity as it provides essential food supplies to students throughout the week and through multiple distribution methods and activities. We need your help to increase the number of resources available. Your generous donations make a real difference in the lives of students who are working hard to complete their education and pursue transfer or career opportunities.
How You Can Help:
Monetary Donations: Financial contributions allow us to support all aspects of the basic needs program, such as operations, personnel, and supplies, including but not limited to housing assistance, purchase of additional food, grocery cards, gas cards, food/housing vouchers, and materials for basic needs activities.
Our students truly appreciate your support, and your generosity can help ensure that they have the support they need to continue their education. Thank you for your kindness.
