Alumni Association

In 1921 Modesto Junior College opened its doors for the first time to 50 pioneering students. Just two years later MJC held its first commencement with 17 students graduating. Today MJC has served over 700,000 students and graduated over 100,000. For 100 years, MJC has been the cornerstone of education in the Central Valley. Today the traditions of MJC are still alive and well.

If you took a class at MJC, we consider you an alum! Many of our alumni have taken the opportunity to share their story with us. Others have donated their time, talent and treasure to their alma mater. If you have talents to share as a mentor or coach for our current students please be in touch, we’d love to get you involved. If your business would like to provide work experience or internship opportunities for our current students, please connect.

If you haven’t done so, please share your story with us. These stories have been an inspiration to current students and other alumni since we began gathering them nine years ago. Please contact our office about sharing your time and talent or to share your story. Or simply post your story here.

Go Pirates!
