Opportunity. Hope. Resilience. Success! The stories on these pages reflect a range of experiences had, and dreams fulfilled, by our students at Modesto Junior College. Maybe you were one of those students back in the day? Maybe you support our cause so that we can continue this fine work into the future? If you are, thank you! We’re grateful for your support.  

Community colleges nationwide will be taking center stage as we build back from this healthcare and economic crisis. MJC stands ready to do its part for our region and our state. As we wrap up our 99th year as a college, we’re proud of the work we’ve done and we’re hopeful about the great things to come. Students and alumni like Jennifer, Shelby, Elliott, Annamarie and Alicia are the reason we feel such pride about what we do here at MJC.  

This spring, we’ll celebrate our 99th commencement ceremony. Although it will be a virtual event, we’ll be providing our graduates with a cap and gown, taking their photo from a safe distance, and sharing the video with them. They’ll have it as a memento of this remarkable school year. And they’ll have a story to tell.
